New Woman Weight Loss Strategies - Modern Thoughts On Losing Weight Faster

There are a wide variety of new woman weight loss techniques which can help you achieve much faster weight loss than you previously thought possible and in this article I'm going to share with you 3 of my favorite strategies for a woman's weight loss. When I speak of "new woman weight loss" I am referring to modern women's weight loss which goes against the grain of much traditional thinking regarding losing weight - the three strategies I share in this article are ones that I follow myself and ones that can really help women lose weight faster.

1.) Women Aren't Men

Women are not the same as men and new woman weight loss dictates that we shouldn't act the same way when it comes to losing weight. We are the fairer sex and unfortunately the benefits of being prettier seem sometimes to be out-weighed by the fact that we are more prone to putting on weight and find it more difficult to lose it.

Stop being frustrated that your man has been able to lose more weight than you with much less effort and realize that women are supposed to have more fat on their body than men - we're the gender that needs more stored fat for reasons of procreation! Don't set yourself the same goal as your husband or boyfriend, set yourself one that is attainable for YOU and work together with your partner at achieving both your goals in tandem.

2.) Don't ALWAYS Listen To Your Friends

Although your friend's are a great source of support they aren't always the best people to go to for advice (for anything, not just weight loss). You see sometimes friends or family will attempt to dissuade you from trying to lose weight for a whole host of reasons such as not wanting you to be a new woman weight loss success because they have failed in the past or because they don't want to see you change.

Beware of statements such as "you've lost enough weight already" or "I like the way you look now" because the fact of the matter is; if you want to lose weight then you need to do something about it. If however all of your friends, family and colleagues advise you against losing weight then perhaps it is time to visit a health specialist or doctor and get a professional opinion - too thin is bad for health!

3.) Forget Weight Loss & Focus On Fat Loss

In the past women losing weight may have been told to read everything into the number shown when you step on the scales but new woman weight loss thinking is different and far better for you. You should not be focussing on how much you weight and instead look at yourself in the mirror - the real key to a slim and sexy body is to burn fat, not lose weight.

You can lose 20 pounds but if most of that is made up of muscle then you are on a hiding to nothing. One thing that I've found extremely good for keeping myself motivated is instead of judging progress by weight is to take a weekly photograph of myself in the same position at the same time of the day - that way you can really SEE results!

Use these 3 new woman weight loss strategies and you will find that fat loss becomes much, much easier - you'll lose weight faster and become a role model.
